The 7th International Conference on Transportation Information and Safety (ICTIS 2023), sponsored by China Communications and Transportation Association (CCTA), IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Society Intelligent Waterborne Transportation Systems (IEEE ITSS: IWTS), and Europen Safety and Reliability Association(ESRA), co-organized by Chang'an University, Wuhan University of Technology, University of Granada and Liverpool John Moores University, has be held in Xi'an(Dhawa Xi'an Chanba Hotel), China and Granada, Spain in parallel on August 4-6, 2023. 

ICTIS 2023 has invited Prof. Carlos Guedes Soares, Academician of the Portuguese Academy of Engineering, Prof. Li Keqiang, Tsinghua University, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (online), IEEE ITSs Executive Committee Member/Vice Chair of the Standardization Working Group Meng Dr. Lu, Mr. Pang Song, former Director General of the Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Communications of China, Professor Shunyuki Yamamoto from Nagoya University of Japan, and Professor Guan Jizhen, Vice President of the China Intelligent Transportation Association, made presentations at the conference; Combined with the theme of the conference, keynote speeches were made from the development of unmanned technology, China's development in the field of intelligent connected vehicles and smart travel, the impact of driver style on traffic, autonomous driving, network and data security, and the technological evolution and development trend of intelligent transportation systems. The conference set up a total of 16 exchange sessions in the direction of road, waterway, railway and civil aviation for thematic discussions, and the participating experts focused on "intelligent networked and resilient transportation system", focusing on the key technologies and future trends of the development of networked transportation system from the perspectives of unmanned, networked and interpersonal collaboration.

    The conference received 584 abstract submissions at home and abroad, 402 full text submissions, and finally accepted 364 papers, accepted papers will be published by IEEE and sent to EI database for search.

    The 8th International Conference on Traffic Information and Safety (ICTIS 2025) will be held in Spain in 2025, hosted by the University of Grenada.
